Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast"

WHEN PRAYING AND HAVING MORE FAITH JUST ISN'T ENOUGH

American Bible Society Bible-Based Trauma Healing for the Global Church

As a mental health professional and art therapist,  I was thrilled to discover this program which uses biblical principles and sound mental health care practices in trauma healing. The Bible-based model  of story and art help those affected by trauma, to work through the pain and find healing. The American Bible Society provides training, resources, and support to help the Church respond to trauma in communities around the world and offer a program that leads to sustainable trauma care in any context.

MT ELGON GRADUATION

MT ELGON BIBLE CLASS GRADUATION
Stan began working with this group in 2015. Since he was in Nairobi he,  and several other men,  made the long trek to the Western province of Kenya to the remote town to teach these men and women who were eager to learn God's Word. The students had to travel many miles to reach their classes so this graduation represents many hours of hard work and dedication to the task, earning a 2-Year Diploma in Bible.

Joseph's Mission Trip to the Turkana Northern Kenya

With everything going on in OUR world-politics, politics, and more politics, other parts of the world are suffering. There is a major drought in Kenya and God Bless Joseph and his team for taking grain to one of the most isolated areas. This small sack of flour may seem like a drop in the bucket BUT to these families it represents HOPE for another day and a sign that someone CARES

Women wait for their bag of meal.

A gesture that says, "Someone cares about your suffering."

The look on their faces speaks volumes!

Joseph and some of the elders.
